About the Business

Coco's Closet is a Sole Proprietorship located in the Sequoyah Hills area in Knoxville, TN. A business license here typically cost $99 for county and city. Insurance with liabilities and workers compensations would cost roughly $2,500.

Coco's Closet is a Sole Proprietorship because there are no fees or registration requirements and no payroll set up. If my business goes down it is on me. Eventually I may want to become an LLC. LLC's get personal protections from these liabilities and the LLC itself. Along with other benefits you have the ability to deduct 100% of health insurance premiums paid.

Behind the Logo

We kept it simple when it came to creating the logo. We did not want to ruin our image with a flashy design so we kept it clean and to the point. The logo will appear on the hang tags of the garment.

Coco Himself

This is my dog Coco. I named the brand after my dog because he is my family. Coco is something that has always been there for me, he is a best friend. This is my way of giving back to him and showing him that i appreciate his company and companionship.

If you would like to meet Coco you may bring your dog to our store.* Given that the pooch gets along well with others, does not chew on things, and is potty trained. There is a dog area available for use.

Coco's Social Responisbility

Here at Coco's Closet we care about our environment. We do little things to help because it is the little actions that go the furthest.

One of our best efforts is that we do not use plastic bags when you buy merchandise. Instead we resort to burlap sacks that we also recycle. Once you have collected 5 of our shopping bags you can return them to our store and receive up to 20% off a purchase of your choice.

Since Coco is a dog we need to keep his friends in mind so not only is this a pet friendly environment. We like to help out our furry little friends. When you shop in our store you can choose if you would like to donate money to the Coco's Closet foundation for Animals. This foundation helps give loving homes to animals in need.
